The only picture about this subject, even it is not explicit an illustration from the book, I really like from all of those which are uploaded here for The Magicans Guilde. This is how I would see Akkarin and Sonea in real. Or have drawn, if I had the talent. ;)

Geil! Hab die Szene sofort erkannt...herrlich, genau so hab ich sie mir vorgestellt. Vor allem gefällt mir die Pose...ihre Hände berühren sich und es wirkt trotzden kein bißchen kitschig!!! wirklich sehr gelungen! Auch der Größenunterschied kommt gut rüber...Sonea hat kurze Haare...und die Dynamik...man kann sich richtig vorstellen welchen Gesichtsausdruck die beiden unter Schleier und Maske haben.

I admit that I moved quite far away from the books and added my own ideas, so it's not an illustration anymore. What inspired me was the rather reckless attempt of the two main characters to save the city in the third book, therefore the name.

Sorry I don't have a very constructive comment, but I think your picture is perfect! Maybe the smoke should be a bit more billowing?
I read the black magician books, and I really loved them ^-^
But I must admit I don't recognise anybody... who are they? When does this scene take place? Sorry >_<
