Fanart: B'tX Tarot - The Hierophant (Fou Lafine)

| Da aufgrund der Eigenanteilsregel meine Tarotkarte selber hier nicht freigeschaltet werden dürfte, lade ich hier meinen "Eigenanteil" der Karte hoch und füge die Karte kurzerhand dazu ein - da sie nicht mehr als 50% des Bildes ausmacht, liegt die Sache ja nun innerhalb der Regeln. Die nicht von mir gemachten Anteile sind mit Erlaubnis verwendet worden; die Credits und Links finden sich unten im Beschreibungstext der Karte. This way towards knowledge often demands of the seeker to submit to authority, though. He's a spiritual leader who supplies answers to moral and spiritual questions through a more institutionalized method. The qualities of the Hierophant are teaching, rituals, rites, spiritual authority, religion, blind belief, zealotry. Traditionally, The Hierophant is connected with the Zodiac Sign Taurus and the Planet Venus. My Imagery: The card depicts Fou Lafine. Fou is a very interesting choice as the Hierophant. In his youth he experienced war and death and this lead him to the conviction that there couldn't be a God. When during an attack his village and the church, where many people took shelter, was destroyed, Lily, the sister of his best friend Quattro got grievously injured. Quattro begged Fou to tell Lily that God existed after all and he would save her, but Fou refused as he didn't want to lie to the dying girl. When Lily died, Fou realised that his decision might have been the wrong one, and he started to preach to the orphans and give them comfort by reading from the Bible and telling them about God, even though he didn't believe it himself. After Lily's death, Fou was taken in by the Machine Empire and indoctrinated that the Machine Emperor only wanted the best for the people of the Earth and that he was a god. Like all the other war orphans that were taken in by the Machine Empire, he began to believe their propaganda and blindly followed the Machine Emperor's orders until Karen's alleged treachery sowed the first doubts in him. Still it took another 5 years until he finally understood how he had been mislead and only told lies by his "cybernetic god".
