Fail

Hey everybody out there!

Up to now I did not accomplish anything. I did not write something except for a few lines, I did not draw, I did not read Faust, I did not answer Wortspielerei and I did not read 13. To sum it up in one sentence: I failed today. At least as far as things on my "To Do"-list are concerned. I do know why I hate those lists, they make me feel like I did nothing today.>D"

Not like I consider it too bad right now at least I do not try to. Yet the night is not over. I can still draw and get lost in it.^-^
Nevertheless it is too late to write anything intelligent for this blog today. I highly doubt I will find any motivation to do so.
That is why I am going to do a quick brainstorming on Ireland only. However short it might be it is still good for my abitur. After all this what all this is about, is it not?

So here we go: what do I still know about Ireland and its' history?
There were maaaa~ny fights. Most of the time it were civil wars, I assume. Religous conflicts between catholic and protestants exist nowadays still.
Ireland had to become indepenadt from the United Kingdom which was a long and violent progress. Unfortunatelly I do not recall any dates or steps anymore. They had this easterrising thing which actually nobody first considered a big deal but which later on became one when England overreacted and had the leaders of the rising been shot. That was when irish people did begin to join the independance movements. Concerning this movements there were at least two important leaders. Michail O'Conell and somebody I cannot name right now but who did become first president of the Republic of Ireland. O'conell and him, they had fights about the conditions served by the Kingdom according to which Ireland should not become a republic at once but something else instead? Something like this. My memory is leaving me alone on this one. Apart from this I remember the great starvation which some people consider to could have been prevented by the United Kingdom and which did leave deep scars on irish population.
I remember too what is called "the celtic tiger" to say the suddenly growing economic power of Ireland.
I remember opression, infections, slums, strange laws concerning religion, abolitions of these laws...well but about certain contains my memory is fuzzy.

Thus as a conclusion for today I proudly admit I successfuly deleted a lot of year before's knowledge.>DD" I very much disliked that term frankly. Now I need to do a revison on it. Otherwise I will get into deep trouble, I guess.

Anyway for tonight I will leave it alone. Revising what is left shall be enough for now.

Hopefully I will not fail on drawing now too. >D Good luck for whatever you are doing this night, we shall meet again tomorrow.^^
