| Just enjoy a cup of tea and a little bit of calm silence once in a while! I love drawing themes that are related to Japanese culture or draw characters that are based on Japanese Traditions such as Tanukis or Kitsunes. This scene was a little bit inspired by Fruits Basket. To be specific, Shigures house. This was also a fantastic opportunity to design a different type of Mermaid. And as the scene felt a little bit empty I added some friends for her that join / want to join the little Teaparty! Originall I planed to add more folklore characters but I felt like I quickly could have overloaded the scene with too many details and I wanted this artwork to feel very peaceful and harmonious rather than busy , which is why I left this place quite empty. Das ist ein wunderschönes Bild.
Friedlich und harmonisch wirkt die Szene auf jeden Fall. Eine sehr angenehme und schöne Atmosphäre.
Ich bin wieder einmal richtig beeindruckt, wie viele Details du in das Bild eingebaut hast. Man kann hier ja noch das Innere des Zimmers und ein paar Kois im Wasser sehen. TTrotzdem wirkt alles insgesamt so schön ruhig.
Die Meerjungfrau hat ein wunderhübsches, sehr elegantes Design bekommen, dass Tanuki sieht super süß aus und die Idee, dass der Kitsune auch mitmachen möchte und deswegen um die Ecke linst, ist super niedlich. ^^
