Tetsu is the leader and bassist for L’arc en Ciel. For a while, Tetsu did the vocals for the band until he convinced Hyde to sing. Hyde now sings for L’arc en Ciel while Tetsu sings for their alter band Punk en Ciel.
Tetsu first got into music when he saw two guys in grade 9 form their own rock band. He fell in love with rock music. One day Ken, his friend, asked him if he wanted to play the bass. Although Tetsu didn’t really know the difference between a guitar or bass, he said sure. Tetsu has played the bass ever since.
When his band, L’arc en Ciel took a break from 2001-2003, he began his solo career as Tetsu69. He has released several successful singles and albums. In addition, he also created his own label called Sprouse.

Thoughts
Tetsu has a deep, mysterious voice that goes well with his music. His solo work ranges from ballad rock to fast upbeat songs. Perhaps some of his most popular songs are Tightrope and White Out. Tetsu’s solo work is a bit quieter compared to Laruku, so don’t expect anything too similar. Try out the samples below and enjoy!
