In 1999 "Druga Era" Science Fiction and Fantasy Club decided to organise the first of such meetings in Poznań. Over the course of fourteen editions of the Convention, the event grew and became the biggest convention of fans in Poland and one of the biggest in Europe.
Since 2010 we've had over 50,000 attendees! This is why we are preparing even more and more fantastic space for you to enjoy during 15th edition of Pyrkon.
What does Pyrkon offer?
Pyrkon is first and foremost all about having great fun!!
TRAIN
In order to check the current train timetable we recommend using the Polish Railways search engine. You will find there up-to-date information about train connections, routes and ticket prices.
In order to get to the Poznań International Fair premises you should get out of the train on the Poznań Main Station (Poznań Główny). From there you can simply walk since Pyrkon is located only a couple hundred meters from the station. It is definitely not worthwhile to use a bus for such a short distance.
BUS
You can also reach Poznań by bus. We encourage you to use your local carrier?s website in order to check connections with Poznań. The bus station is integrated with the Poznań Main Station. In order to reach the Poznań International Fair grounds you need head to Głogowska street or ride one stop using a tram. However, we need to point out it is not very cost-effective.
CAR
Obviously you can also reach Poznań using a car. However be warned that the location of the Poznań International Fair in the very centre of Poznań will make parking very difficult. Even if you find a place to park your car, chances are you will have to pay for it.
AIRPLANE
Arriving in Poznań by plane you will find yourself at the Ławica Airport. Reaching Poznań International Fair from there takes approximately 20 minutes. From the airport you can get a bus - either line L, which will take you to Poznań Main train station (Poznań Główny), or line 59, which will take you to Rondo Kaponiera. Both of these bus stops are located very close to the Fair grounds.
60 PLN - three-day pass
25 PLN - Friday pass
35 PLN - Saturday pass
25 PLN - Sunday pass
Reduced price passes intended for children up 12 years of age can be purchased only for a single day, regardless of the pass purchased by the guardian of the child. This means that if the child is supposed to spend all three days at Pyrkon, three separate one-day passes will need to be purchased.
10 PLN - Friday pass
20 PLN - Saturday pass
10 PLN - Sunday pass
Children up to 6 years can participate in Pyrkon for free.
You can buy tickets during the Pyrkon Multigenre Fan Convention. The tickets will be available starting on Thursday, April 23rd, at the northern entrance of the Poznań International Fair (from Bukowska street). They will be available there throughout the convention.
